Starvation Reservoir

We went boating/camping this weekend with my dad and his wife Kim. We had a great time. I think Starvation has become my new favorite place to ski, second only to Lake Powell. We were there during the annual Duschene days...all I can say about that is there was plenty of mullet watching for all...you know how it is, business in front, party out back...anyways, we decided to make it an annual weekend after Labor Day tradition... My kids adore Kim. She must feel like a very unlucky celebrity whenever she is around them. They won't leave her alone. She is great with them though and entertains them wonderfully.

Grandpa Kent rippin it up on the slalom. Not too bad for an old guy eh? hahaha

Neal getting some pretty good air on the wakeboard. I didn't post any pictures of me wakeboarding because I didn't want to take away the glory from my dad and Neal...you know how men are, they don't like women to outshine them, especially in sports...hahaha

I am so proud of Gage. He tried the knee board for the first time this year and did AWESOME! He says he is ready to learn how to ski...can't wait for next season...

Gage and Boe had a great time tubing with Grandpa Kent

Sadly this little guy was the biggest catch of the trip

Ga-ga for Gager and Ode to my Boe-Boe...

Today was Gage's first day of his second year of preschool...He's such a big boy. He just walked right up and went in. When I asked him if he wanted me to stay, he said, "nope it's okay mom, just come pick me up k?" And went inside...So here's to Gage and his smart, witty, sweet, lovable, HILARIOUS, little self...

Getting ready for the big day last night, he had a little "homework" assignment that he had to bring back today...
Gage wanted pancakes-snowman
and mickey mouse shaped...
good thing those are the only
shapes I know how to make eh?
Boe was so sad for Gage to go...the whole time we were grocery shopping he kept asking me if it was time to pick Gage up from school...

My baby started preschool yesterday. I can't believe he's three! Honestly, where does the time go? I want Boe to know how much I love his cute, edible, cuddly, HILARIOUSLY sarcastic self...
Fun for him, SAD for me...but not really. I am so glad that my kids are growing and learning new, exciting things. It's just hard to believe that he is old enough to be going to preschool...

Boe and cute Libby...
I have mentioned the Gee family before in other posts, they were our next door neighbors in West Jordan before we moved to Riverton. Gage and Brookie are a year apart and Boe and Libby are 11 days apart. We have had lot's of fun times with them. Last year when we moved, they were right behind us and moved out to Riverton about a month after us, about a mile away...So fun...
