Okay, this isn't REALLY a post about Christmas in June...it's actually a post about Gage losing his FIRST TOOTH! He decided it would be a great idea to pull it out on Mother's Day in the middle of primary! He came into the RS room with blood running down his face and a big ol' smile holding his teeny tiny tooth! We quickly went into the bathroom and cleaned up and I held onto the tooth for safe keeping until we could get home and put it under his pillow.
When I was little, my dad used to try to scare us by telling us the tooth fairy was a big, hairy, scary ogre who would clomp into our house and throw us in the air and take our teeth. It used to scare the bajeebies out of us, I tried to tell the same grand tale to Gage, but he didn't buy it! He couldn't wait to put his tooth under his pillow.
The next morning he came RUNNING into our room holding his FIVE DOLLAR BILL! I don't think he has spent it yet! He is holding onto it until he finds something REALLY amazing to buy!
He is SUPER proud of his missing tooth, I believe he has another 4 teeth loose right now! We told him that the five dollars was probably just for losing his FIRST tooth, and to not get overly excited or expect that much with each tooth!

What would I give...
To be able to talk to HER again? Just for one minute, or two or twenty ;)...Today marks four years since my mom passed away. I got a package in the mail from my dad today...in it there was a letter from him, he wanted us to know the "top ten" things he thinks our mom would say to us if we had 30 minutes with her...as I was reading through the list, I could honestly HEAR my mom speaking to my sisters and I. Time has dulled the hurt and extreme pain that I felt for so long after her death, however, there are definitely days when I miss her so much it is almost too painful to bear. I know she is with us. I know she loves us and I am positive that she misses us as much as we do her. I am glad she isn't hurting anymore or in pain. I know she is watching out for us and cheering us on. I am grateful for the days throughout the year when I can stop and think, about her, and all the things she taught me. She was one amazing woman. I'll never forget her, and if it's possible, I think I love and appreciate her more today then I did four years ago. Missing and loving you today and always Mom...
Love,
Adrian

Mother's Day...
Sooooo, I know Mother's Day was a LONG time ago...I am catching up...This was by far the BEST Mother's Day I have had since my mom died. Usually, I am super emotional and depressed the week before and on the actual day. I was still emotional and sad, it is hard to have a day meant to specifically celebrate someone that is no longer here to celebrate, but I decided that I was going to focus on happy thoughts and realize how blessed I am...to have had such an incredible mom and to be able to to a mom to 3 incredible children. It was a great day.
Plus, I was SUPER SPOILED with Mom"mish" gifts...a brand new RED extra deep crockpot, a SEWING machine so I can finally learn to sew and make some REALLY cute pillows for my house (thanks Kim...)some cute shoes and some clothes. A perfect day...

It's Your Birthday SHOUT Hooray...

Today is my little Boe-Boe's FIFTH birthday! I cannot believe how BIG he is! Five years has gone by way too fast. Boe starts KINDERGARTEN in just 2 short months and I am going to miss my little buddy A LOT! Boe wanted a "SPEED RACER/HOTWHEELS" birthday this year. We are officially celebrating next Saturday. I'll post pics of the party afterwards.
Here are just FIVE of the MANY things I love about Boe:
1. He is always HAPPY.
2. He LOVES his family and friends.
3. He is HI-LARIOUS and SARCASTIC (I have NO idea where he gets that from)
4. He is ALL-BOY!
5. He is adventurous and brave, he'll try pretty much anything at least once.
We LOVE you Boe-hope you have a VERY happy day!
Love,
Mom, Dad, Gage and Ryder
